A Story of Restoration

Before meeting Dr. Sam Serio, I was a preacher carrying deep emotional wounds. Years of broken relationships and the trauma of sexual abuse had left me struggling with depression, anger, low self-esteem, and a loss of confidence — not only in myself but also in the calling God had placed upon my life. I was ministering to others while silently hurting myself.

My first counseling session with Dr. Sam marked the beginning of a life-changing journey. His compassionate approach, biblical wisdom, and practical guidance gave me hope that healing was possible. He also shared a healing handbook that I committed to studying and applying. As I continued to read and put its principles into practice, I experienced remarkable transformation. The depression lifted, the anger subsided, my confidence returned, and I rediscovered my purpose in God.

The greatest evidence of my healing has been the ability to help others heal. I adopted a little girl who had been raped at the age of three and was living with severe medical complications. Through God's grace and the encouragement I received during my healing journey, I connected her with organizations that supported her surgery and medical treatment. Today, she is healthy, thriving, and attending school.

Inspired by my own restoration, I organized a Women's Healing Webinar in Uganda, creating a safe space for women to begin confronting hidden emotional wounds. The impact was extraordinary, and there is now a genuine eagerness among many women in Uganda to welcome Dr. Sam Serio for in-person healing conferences and counseling events.
